April 2022 found my brother, niece, and me visiting Ireland. One of the highlights was a day spent at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. The folk park is a wonderful assemblage of streets, farmhouses, village shops, and other buildings as they would have appeared during the time of the castle's heyday.

One of the buildings that I especially liked was the vertical mill. When constructing my small world, I decided to place it in a more idyllic setting rather than its open park.
