Vintage Vale

I started designing and constructing Vintage Vale in 2019 after a break of many years. The vale consists of mainly original designs based upon the look and feel of primarily Japanese vintage putz houses. Occasionally, I have also tried closely replicating some vintage designs that I have found interesting.

Buildings in Vintage Vale are constructed using 30pt chipboard, which is my standard material because it is sturdy and closely matches the vintage original material. Exteriors are typically a sanded "stucco" texture with added sparkle provided by German glass glitter. Trees and other greenery accents are constructed using loofah in the traditional manner.  Additional accents such as figures or vehicles, or fences are either constructed or sculpted by hand.

Vintage Vale has been very popular with my clients. Often their requests for specific building types is what causes the line to expand. Many of these requests can be found in the Vintage Vale Customs gallery.

The gallery below shows the standard line of Vintage Vale buildings in their default colors and configurations.

Any of the Vintage Vale buildings in the standard gallery or in the Vintage Vale Customs gallery can be requested in different colors or with customized details.

One of the joys of working with my clients is creating a custom item that will build special memory.
